SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – After a hiatus of 70 years, Lawrence Technological University will again field a football team and has hired a coach, Jeff Duvendeck, who will lead efforts to build a team that will begin competing in the 2018 season. Duvendeck, most recently the head coach at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo., will begin student recruiting activities immediately. Lawrence Tech expects to attract students with strong scholastic aptitude who also enjoy the competition,
